A Short Story: Snack Time.

*This story is entirely a work of fiction.*

She said:

I’m livid with you right now.

I said:

Why?

She said:

After all this time, this is the poem you send to me?

“I treat a bitch like I don’t know what,

I treat a bitch like a slut,

I treat a bitch when I slap her on the butt,

I treat a bitch when I put it in her mouth,

I treat a bitch when I pull up to her house and take her to a nice restaurant so she can see inside and then take her to get fast food,

I treat a bitch like that.”

I said:

Woman, you know how I was telling you I was practicing rapping, that’s what rap is, right?

She said:

(Sighs)

Okay Avi, you don’t have to use me to make your point.

I said:

So what’s going on?

She said:

Why can’t you just be sweet to me for once in your life?

I said:

Woman, why was I hearing you curse in one of your songs recently?

She said:

Oh okay… that’s coming from the guy who in one of his recent songs said, “girl, dance on my private pole, pull my zipper down.” ?

I said:

Why was you wetter after I said that though?

She said:

(Smiles but doesn’t say anything)

I said:

Why haven’t you been smiling much? You have a nice smile…

She said:

(Rolls her eyes, but doesn’t say anything)

I said:

Okay let me see what I’ve got:

What are the chances of an encounter like that, don’t ya think?

A chance encounter that could possibly alter the lateral of the globe, I was just thinking.

And I know what you’re thinking,

When you’re heavy blinking,

And your eyelids see what you want,

So, you know…

There’s a lot that I see when I see inside of you,

Maybe you don’t see it, but I do,

I make my way inside you,

And travel to your potent spots,

And listen to your important thoughts,

Daydreams could be better than nightmares,

At least, that’s what I’m telling you,

Your heartbeat is too sweet,

And I know what you’re thinking,

Unusual awareness,

Why are your senses perked up like that?

I parked them somewhere within that,

A spark that sharp jolted your endeavor,

Whenever, where ever,
I know what you’re thinking,

Is this real life existing,

Or is this what had already existed.

She said:

(Blushes)

Why you had to do me like that?
