A Short Story: Symphonically

A Short Story:

*This story is entirely a work of fiction.*

She said:

(Fake laughs)

You’re the biggest piece of shit I think that I ever met in my life… and I’ve met a lot of pieces of shit in my lifetime…

I said:

(Obnoxiously smiles)

Really… I’m flattered, that’s quite an achievement, but why are you all of a sudden full throttle with your anger towards me, the apostle, Aristotle like that?

She said:

Right… you’re more like the imposter chasing impossible dreams… over there.

I said:
(takes a deep breath)

Shorty, what did I do wrong with you this time?

She said:
Where should I start?

  1. You cheat on me any and every opportunity you get.
  2. You can’t sing, but for some reason when you do sing it sounds good.
  3. You never sang to me before and now all of a sudden you singing like Michael Jackson and Bob Marley to these girls. All of a sudden you’re like a Michael Marley.

I said:

First off, I’m not even cheating that much… I’m just making some love that’s it; love making. Secondly, it’s just the way I naturally speak… whenever I talk to someone it’s always like I’m singing or rapping, it’s just subtle. And moreover, I told you that I signed Bob Marley and Michael Jackson to my label but you didn’t want to listen.

She said:

(Rolls her eyes)

Regardless… making love is worse than cheating… at least I think so.

And it’s not just the way you speak… you only speak like that when you’re around a good-looking girl… then you’re mister poet… and elaborate and articulate.

I said:
(laughs)

I appreciate that compliment and if you’re so mad why are you even wetter after hearing my last two songs then?

She said:

(Forcefully slaps me in the face)

Don’t talk about my levels of wetness like that… and I’m not. Wow, you really just know how to piss me off, don’t you?

I said:

Well you’re eyes and seductive tone of voice are telling me something different right now then…

She said:
(Smirks)

Don’t try and change the subject.

I said:

Shorty, you know how I’m just over here looking at you like I’m trying to keep my eye on the prize…

She said:

(Sighs)

Right…

I said:

And shorty, you know how much I’m sensually feeling around your feelings until I get you feeling a good way…

She said:

(Smiles while rolling her eyes)

Right.

I said:

And shorty you definitely know how much I’m curating my elaborate sentences to orchestrate through your soul and being symphonically.
